Pieter’s relationship with Odoo began at version 8 and has deepened ever since. As a dedicated Pythonista he has mastered the framework, becoming especially skilled at extending and customising the platform to meet specific business requirements — from module development to complex integration projects.

Across diverse industries he always emphasises sustainable, maintainable code that evolves alongside client needs.

Beyond core development, Pieter brings comprehensive DevOps capabilities. He navigates the infrastructure landscape with Terraform for provisioning, Ansible for configuration management and AWS for scalable cloud hosting — designing complete solution architectures that are robust, scalable and efficiently maintained.

Pieter has developed a strong expertise in migrating clients with complex and highly customised Odoo installations from older versions to the latest releases. With a proven track record of complex legacy migrations, he has learned to anticipate and overcome the technical challenges these transitions bring — moving each installation across smoothly and safely.
